About Me

A 25+ year survivor of the graphic design industry, Kurt has designed marketing campaigns for clients of all sizes — Professional Bull Riders, Colorado College Hockey, and Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, to name a few.

Although he’s logged some years as an art director in the IT business environment, he prefers spending time at the small business level. Usually avoiding accolades from peers, he does admit to receiving a Judge’s Choice Award for his part in Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Wallaby Walkabout visual branding campaign in 2006.

In 2010, he traded in the Colorado Rockies for the Canadian Rockies. Moving from one region known for its award-winning microbrews to another helped smooth the transition. After a 28-hour drive to B.C. in his yellow 1976 Volkswagen Bus, he settled in Glen Valley where he lives on a dairy farm with his wife, Julie, and two dashing step-sons.

When he’s not watching Denver Broncos games, he’s usually rambling on about his own artistic children, Myra and Russell.
